"Passions" walked away with the Emmy Award for "Outstanding Original Song" at the Creative Arts Emmy Presentation on Saturday, May 10.
John Henry Kreitler and Faith Rivera, composers and lyricists of the Outstanding Original Song "Forever Near" were both present at the ceremony to accept their Emmy Awards. The song was composed for the on-air death of Timmy. "We are absolutely thrilled at John and Faith's Emmy win," said "Passions" Executive Producer, Lisa de Cazotte. "Their win also marks the show's first Emmy, so as you can imagine, the cast and crew are all very excited."
The Creative Craft Emmy Awards were presented on Saturday, May 10, in Los Angeles at the Sheraton Universal Hotel and simultaneously in New York at the Marriott Marquis Hotel.
