"Passions" received two Daytime Emmy® Award nominations, in both the main and technical categories for the 32nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. "Passions" was nominated in the following categories:
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series: Juliet Mills as Tabitha Lenox. This marks Mills' first nomination for a Daytime Emmy® Award. She received a Prime-Time Emmy® Award as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Special for the mini-series "QB VII." She has also received two Golden Globe® Award nominations; one for her infamous portrayal as 'Phoebe Figalilly' in the television series "Nanny and the Professor" and one for her leading role, opposite Jack Lemmon, in Billy Wilder's "Avanti!" Mills also received a Tony® Award nomination for her role as 'Pamela Harrington' in "Five Finger Exercise." She is a member of the famous British family that includes her father, actor Sir John Mills, her mother, playwright, Lady Mary Mills and sister, actress Hayley Mills. Mills has portrayed the role of Tabitha Lenox since the show's inception in 1999.
Outstanding Achievement in Multiple Camera Editing for a Drama Series: Mary Ann Benson, Editor; Paul Hartel, Editor and Steven Vincent, Editor.
The above nominations bring the show's Emmy® nods to 25 since the series debut on July 5, 1999.
The 32nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on Friday, May 20 from New York City's Radio City Music Hall from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET (8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. CT) on CBS. The Creative Craft Daytime Emmy Awards, primarily for the creative arts categories, will be presented at ceremonies on Saturday, May 14, in New York at the Marriott Marquis Hotel and in Los Angeles at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland.
