From TV Guide...
Jade Harlow is out of Harmony. Passions announced last week that the role of Jessica Bennett has been recast with General Hospital alum Danica Stewart. But Harlow, who has been recurring with Passions since September, has already composed a new melody. "I've executive-produced a short film," says the actress, who also stars in the production. "It's called Old Man Music, and it's about an old man who loses the last thing that's most important to him; it's kind of a downer," she laughs.
Harlow's recast may come as a surprise to viewers, but not to her. "I could feel it building," she confesses. "I wasn't working as much, and I couldn't play 16 or 17 forever. The Kays changed, and I think Deanna Wright [who plays Jessica's older sister Kay] came across younger than me. I knew they wanted to find someone who came across younger than her." Harlow doesn't regret the experience. "It's been a great springboard, and I learned so much. Now I'm a quick study, and just watching the crew got me interested in what's going on behind the scenes. It was better than film school."
Harlow admits she'll miss getting a preview of the crazy antics in the spellbound town, but has nothing but good words for the next Jessica. "The actors give you so much — your niche is there, enjoy it."
