My thoughts on Passions

Hi, I'm new to this board and have been watching Passions for a very long time now. I really need to express my thoughts because although I love this show very much, it is REALLY starting to annoy me. First, I'm so sick of the Gwen, Theresa and Ethan storyline. The fact that Ethan chose Gwen makes me sick. Theresa and Ethan should be together, and the fact that Ethan said to Theresa that his family with Gwen will come first made me want to smack him through my tv screen Also, I think Rebecca should have been arrested when Gwen got on the plane with Jane because afterall, Rebecca was aiding and abedding a fugitive! I would love it if months down the road, Gwen realizes she does not need Ethan, and Ethan will go to Theresa, only to see that Theresa has moved on with her life and wants nothing to do with him. Also, I just want to add that Luis, the so called "detective" is not very good at his job if he can't put 2 and 2 together and see that Beth is the most suspicious, manipulative person in the world...I mean, c'mon...she has a baby right after Sheridan's is kidnapped and some how can't breast feed? YA.....RIIIGHT. I'm glad the police in my town aren't as dumb as him or else there'd be Beth's and Gwen's running around trying to murder people and kidnap their kids every single day. I know it's just a soap opera, but I really needed to vent because pretty soon my family is gonna think I'm crazy if I keep yelling at my tv...lol. ;D

I'm glad somebody posted a thread with the title "My thoughts on Passions" because I have a random contribution that's not worth its own thread, but I simply MUST share it:

Me and the Law don't get along, and I've been to jail several times (not prison, just county jail for misdemeanor crap). Every morning, the deputy (guard) recites a list of rules/schedule for the day. One of the deputies says something like, "at noon you will have lunch, at 12:45 you will return to your cells and be locked in. At 1pm, Passions is on. You WILL be silent during Passions!"

She purposely locked us in to our cells during Passions (as opposed to letting us roam around, play cards, etc) so she could devote her attention to it. When Passions was over, she'd let us out of our cells, and girls would run up to her and ask about the daily scoop on Passions. I didn't watch Passions at the time, but I think it was during the era of the little midget guy and the sorceress. She was a cool Deputy. Passions is a WEIRD-ass soap. And I love both of 'em.

PS - is it just me, or does Passions currently have too many baby-paternity storylines going? Enough with the babies, already. I'm surprised people aren't bickering over custody of the chimp.
