Galen Gering's (Luis) contract will expire soon, and a setsider says the original cast member will be out by June. It looks like the show is already looking for a replacement -- again. A year ago, the soap searched for "Ric," a role rumored to actually be Luis.
Now, Passions is casting two men, one Hispanic and one Caucasian, described as 26-28 years of age and stunning. One is named Ric. Coincidence? A show spokesperson says, "It is our policy not to comment on or discuss contracts."
Meanwhile, Gering has been extra busy getting his business, www.reelaccess.com, up and running.

The "Passions" casting department is keeping busy. They are searching for a dark-haired, "extremely handsome" and built man in his early 20s to play charming bad-boy Eric (code for Noah Bennett?). Also on its radar is a beautiful, sophisticated blonde in her early 20s to play Alicia. She is "to-the-manor born" and mature, but enjoys partying. Sounds like one of Julian and Ivy's daughters. Both contract roles will start in April. In addition, the show is looking for a beautiful, sexy, Caucasian woman in her late-20s-to-30s to portray Alistair's assistant...
